My formal training began at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where I received my Bachelors degree in communication arts. My first professional job was as an airbrush artist while still a student. After graduating I became an artist in the screen-printing industry, working for 14 years. In 2009, I returned to school, earning my MFA in Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011.

I currently teach high school and college classes at Clark Advanced Learning Center in Stuart Florida, as well as occasional classes at Indian River State College campuses throughout the Treasure Coast. I also do free-lance work for a myriad of different clients, and occasionally work as a caricature artist. When free time presents itself I do work of a more personal nature in a variety of different media.

I’ve always felt my last name being Stiles has held a certain poetic irony in how I work. As my portfolio reflects, I am adept at many styles, and am comfortable whether working in a simple graphic design or high-end illustration. While I have concentrated mostly on computer-aided design during my professional career, I enjoy working in a variety of mediums.

I currenntly reside in Palm City, Florida with my wife Crystal, two daughters Maddie and Ella Kate and dog Oliver.
